A little bit of exposure

My photo
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Being an Urban Explorer and a keen amateur photographer gives me the chance to document and record derelict and abandoned buildings that are not normally seen. It's a hidden and forgotten world of true beauty and natural decay.

The Passage Of Time.

One can't imagine how many people have embraced these stairs.
I must admit to feeling a little uncomfortable stood here.
I think your mind plays tricks in situations like this.

The Secret Garden.

This felt like walking into a fairy tale. It's a sad sight to behold really.
But you can only bestow great respect for such a magnificent building as this.

Room With A View.

There is an endless supply of material to photograph here! And i dread to think how much it would have cost me to develop all the shots i took that day. Thank god for digital.
I just looked through the window and thought....... Beautiful.
Thats the kind of Photography that means something. That pleasurable smile.

The Window Box.

Nature is encroaching fast now.
Breathing life for a new look in it's old age.
This Mill deserves to be restored.
I keep my fingers crossed!

The Waiting Room.

Another one of the Mill.
It's only now that i can relax and take it all in at my leisure.
Even in it's never ending decay, it still shows it's beauty.

The Silent Staircase

This is part of Westwood Mill at Linthwaite. One of the earliest buildings of it's type. 18th century and grade 2 listed.
I entered here all alone, and although it was daylight, the feeling was very eerie.
This place has now truly inspired me to return! But with a companion for safety reasons.
I just love the way how nature has taken hold to reveal the beautiful colours and texture.
