This reminded me of a time in my life when things just seemed out of control. I'm sure we have all been there at one point in our lives.

Late afternoon Autumn sun really makes the rich colours of the door stand out. I like the warm feel to it.

The Enchanted wood

There's unrest in the forest,there's trouble with the trees. For the Maple's need more sunlight...but the Oak's ignore their plea's.

I just adore woodland...I find them magical and majestic.

Coming back to life

I rather like this image in It's altered state! and the title gives it a very atmospheric feel.

When I first took this shot it was the line of the trees that caught my eye.

I suppose I'm lucky living on the edge of beautiful countryside. I need no excuse for being out there.

Going green

This is a part of Gordale Scar in Malhamdale. Carved out by the melting glaciers.

I wanted to convey the sheer ruggedness
of my local area in a way thats not normally perceived.

It's a land of dry stone walls.

I like the way the colours seem to compliment each other in the late afternoon sun.

Against the norm

I prefer the reportage approach with the element of surprise. In my opinion it gives the image a more natural feel.
My friend was totally unaware this was being taken. He was engrossed in watching the planes land at Manchester Airport.
He's now been labelled as Mr.Cool

I have spent many years battling against It's formidable force whilst exploring the Caves and Potholes.

It has my upmost respect.
